This Monday, Phoenix Councilman Sal DiCiccio found out about a quiet plan to cut Ahwatukee police squad sizes from six or seven down to five, transferring up to a dozen officers from Ahwatukee to the other side of South Mountain. The plan was scheduled to take effect on February 6, without public hearings or notice even to the Council.

After Councilman DiCiccio raised concerns, the plan was changed on Wednesday, eliminating the transfers from Ahwatukee. Councilman DiCiccio pointed out that while the transfers might prove necessary for force balancing and officer safety, such a drastic move should not be made covertly. Rather, more information should be made available to the public and our representatives on the City Council.

"The executive branch also needs to change. Too often, it's inefficient, outdated and remote. That's why I've asked this Congress to grant me the authority to consolidate the federal bureaucracy so that our Government is leaner, quicker, and more responsive to the needs of the American people."

This paragraph is buried on page 7 of the President’s State of the Union address of January 24, 2012. It was expertly placed by a master propagandist. The words are deep into the speech when the minds of most are wandering and not paying attention: especially those in the television audience. Please read it slowly and carefully. Ask yourself what it means, or could mean.

On the surface, the words appear to be innocuous, but the consequences could be catastrophic if Congress grants him his wish.

Adolph Hitler asked for such power and got it by elected mandate from the people of Germany in 1933. It happened in March, 1933 when he was elected to office as Chancellor of Germany. Two days after he was elected, the Reichstag passed the Enabling Bill which gave him full authority over the government, and a democratically elected dictatorship was born.

Asking Congress to give him the authority to consolidate the federal bureaucracy to act faster than he now does with the executive orders which he uses with the ease of a trapeze artist is hard to comprehend. Why does he think he needs more authority to abuse our Constitution? A document which has been thoroughly misread, misinterpreted and trampled upon for the past 125 years by Congress and the legal system which was established by it.

In 1832, when he wrote Democracy in America, Alexis de Tocqueville said America would become socialistic in a very democratic way. It doesn’t take much imagination to understand how socialism can lead to a dictatorship. Historically, that ¡s always the outcome of a socialist government. It slowly takes the power from the people and concentrates it in the hands of the elected elite. When the electorate realizes what has happened, it's too late. The people become restless and demand their rights. It's then the dictatorship flexes its muscle by using armed force against the people who have been disarmed by their own laws. Laws which they made possible. Is this in our future?

As Santayana said…"If you don't know history, you're doomed to repeat it." And the other hand, if you know history, you shouldn’t or won't repeat it.

Don’t allow history to repeat itself again. If you do, you will be sacrificing your freedom and liberty.

Don Kennedy

OBAMA: "On the day I took office, our auto industry was on the verge of collapse. Some even said we should let it die. With a million jobs at stake, I refused to let that happen. In exchange for help, we demanded responsibility. We got workers and automakers to settle their differences. We got the industry to retool and restructure. Today, General Motors is back on top as the world's number one automaker. Chrysler has grown faster in the U.S. than any major car company. Ford is investing billions in U.S. plants and factories. And together, the entire industry added nearly 160,000 jobs."

THE FACTS: He left out some key details. The bailout of General Motors and Chrysler began under Republican President George W. Bush. Obama picked up the ball, earmarked more money, and finished the job. But Ford, which Obama mentions as well, never asked for a federal bailout and never got one. It's managed to get along on its own. Also, as part of its restructuring, Chrysler is not really a U.S. automaker anymore. Italian automaker Fiat now owns a 30 percent share, and it will eventually go to 51 percent under terms of the U.S. bailout and its bankruptcy restructuring.

OBAMA: "Our health care law relies on a reformed private market, not a government program."

THE FACTS: That's only half true. About half of the more than 30 million uninsured Americans expected to gain coverage through the health care law will be enrolled in a government program. Medicaid, the federal-state program for low-income people, will be expanded starting in 2014 to cover childless adults living near the poverty line.

The other half will be enrolled in private health plans through new state-based insurance markets. But many of them will be receiving federal subsidies to make their premiums more affordable. And that's a government program, too.

Starting in 2014 most Americans will be required to carry health coverage, either through an employer, by buying their own plan, or through a government program.

A government forcing its citizens to buy a product is, a country where liberty no longer exist.

Barak Hussein Obama promised us changes we could believe in :

Health Insurance cost for a family (according to Kaiser Family Foundation):

$13,375 in 2009

$15,073 in 2011

This is an increase of 12.6%

Gasoline prices:

$1.84 on January 26, 2009

$3.39 on January. 23, 2011

That is an increase of 84%

National Debt

$10.62 trillion in 2009

$15.23 trillion Jan 2012

This is an increase of 43%

Government Spending

$304 billion in Jan. 2009

$323 billion in Dec. 2011

This is an increase of 6.25%

The private sector remains down 1.1 million jobs from the start of 2009.

There were 75 major regulations adopted in Obama's first two years in office, compared to 120 during Bush's entire term, according to the Heritage Foundation, citing Government Accountability Office statistics. Fiscal 2010 saw a record 43 rules adopted.

Regulatory activity is likely to pick up in coming years as agencies start implementing two of Obama's major initiatives — the Affordable Care Act and the Dodd-Frank financial reform law.

These are changes we were promised?

We can-not afford another 4 years with Obama.

OIL – You better be sitting down when you read this !!!!!!

As you may know, Cruz Construction started a division in North Dakota
just 6 months ago.

They sent every Kenworth (9 trucks) they had in Alaska to North Dakota
and several drivers.

They just bought two new Kenworth's to add to that fleet; one being a Tri
Drive tractor and a new 65 ton lowboy to go with it.

They also bought two new cranes (one crawler & one rubber tired) for that
division.

Dave Cruz said they have moved more rigs in the last 6 months in ND than
Cruz Construction moved in Alaska in the last 6 years.

Williston is like a gold rush town; they moved one of our 40 man camps
down there since there are no rooms available.

Unemployment in ND is the lowest in the nation at 3.4 percent last I
checked.

See anything in the national news about how the oil industry is fueling
North Dakota 's economy?

Here's an astonishing read. Important and verifiable information:

About 6 months ago, the writer was watching a news program on oil and one
of the Forbes Bros. was the guest.

The host said to Forbes, "I am going to ask you a direct question and I
would like a direct answer;

How much oil does the U.S. have in the ground?"

Forbes did not miss a beat, he said, "more than all the Middle East put together."

The U. S. Geological Service issued a report in April 2008 that only
scientists and oil men knew was coming, but man was it big.

It was a revised report (hadn't been updated since 1995) on how much oil
was in this area of the western 2/3 of North Dakota , western South Dakota , and extreme eastern Montana.

Check THIS out:

The Bakken is the largest domestic oil discovery since Alaska 's Prudhoe
Bay , and has the potential to eliminate all American dependence on foreign oil.

The Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimates it at 503 billion barrels. Even if just 10% of the oil is recoverable( 5 billion barrels), at $107 a barrel, we're looking at a resource base worth more than $5.3 trillion.

"When I first briefed legislators on this, you could practically see
their jaws hit the floor.

They had no idea.." says Terry Johnson, the Montana Legislature's
financial analyst.

"This sizable find is now the highest-producing onshore oil field found
in the past 56 years," reports The Pittsburgh Post Gazette.

It's a formation known as the Williston Basin , but is more commonly
referred to as the 'Bakken.'

It stretches from Northern Montana, through North Dakota and into Canada ..

For years, U. S. oil exploration has been considered a dead end.

Even the 'Big Oil' companies gave up searching for major oil wells
decades ago.

However, a recent technological breakthrough has opened up the Bakken's
massive reserves, and we now have access of up to 500 billion barrels. And because this is
light, sweet oil, those billions of barrels will cost Americans just $16 PER BARREL !!!!!!

That's enough crude to fully fuel the American economy for 400 years
straight.

And if THAT didn't throw you on the floor, then this next one should -
because it's from 2006 !!!!!!

U.S. Oil Discovery – Largest Reserve in the World

Stansberry Report Online – 4/20/2006

Hidden 1,000 feet beneath the surface of the Rocky Mountains lies the
largest untapped oil reserve in the world.

It is more than 2 TRILLION barrels. On August 8, 2005 President Bush
mandated its extraction.

In three and a half years of high oil prices none has been extracted.

With this mother-load of oil why are we still fighting over off-shore
drilling?

They reported this stunning news:

We have more oil inside our borders, than all the other proven reserves
on earth.

Here are the official estimates:

8 times as much oil as Saudi Arabia

18 times as much oil as Iraq

21 times as much oil as Kuwait

22 times as much oil as Iran

500 times as much oil as Yemen

and it's all right here in the Western United States !!!!!!

HOW can this BE? HOW can we NOT BE extracting this? Because the
environmentalists and others have blocked all efforts to help America become
independent of foreign oil! Again, we are letting a small group of people dictate
our lives and our economy. WHY?

James Bartis, lead researcher with the study says we've got more oil in
this very compact area than the entire Middle East, more than 2 TRILLION
barrels untapped.. That's more than all the proven oil reserves of crude oil
in the world today, reports The Denver Post.

Don't think 'OPEC' will drop its price even with this find? Think again!
It's all about the competitive marketplace, it has to.

Think OPEC just might be funding the environmentalists?

Got your attention yet? Now, while you're thinking about it, do this:

Pass this along. If you don't take a little time to do this, then you
should stifle yourself the next time you complain about gas prices,

By the way, this can be verified. Check it out at the link below !!!!!!

http://www.usgs.gov/newsroom/article.asp?ID=1911

Over the last few years we have all seen our neighbors out of work, losing homes and struggling to get by.

The private sector have seen cuts between 15 and 25 percent during the last few years, while city government unions have seen 23% in increased payout

Here is a short list with some of the demands from the Union:

Union demands > $100 million in more money for them.

Continuation of pay raises

Restoring the 3.2% cut (the cost over $100 million). This was a onetime cut over a two-year budget. This amounted to about 1.6% and only about .5% per year coming from salary. Yes, a salary cut of less than 1%. At the same time, nearly half the staff received a 4.5% raise each year.

Veto power over changing job roles, over changing shifts to save overtime and limiting other scheduling options for city workers.

Phoenix is prevented from saving money by avoiding contracting out any services.

ALL contract negotiations to be kept secret.

This is to be funded by increasing taxes: Water and sewer rate increases, Property tax increase and maintain the 2% food tax.

Government unions believe they are entitled to more, why? Are they a protected class?

Tell City hall that enough is enough.

City of Phoenix is taking money from the poor and gives it to its employees.

How can this be you might ask.

People need two things to stay alive; food and water.

City of Phoenix implemented a 2% tax on food to make up for lost revenue due to the recession, or so we were told. We were not told about pay raises for City employees.

Secondly, the City of Phoenix over the last 7 years has increased our water bill (each year) such that today our water bill has doubled from what it was seven (7) years ago.

Revenue from the food tax and the excessive water fees has funded pay raises and free public transportation for City of Phoenix employees.

Did you know that all 15,000 City employees utilizes the City Public Transit System for free; and at the Phoenix Public Transit system is subsidized by tax-payers in the amount of more than four (4) food-taxes or in excess of $200 million a year.

Enough is enough

Call or e-mail City hall and let them know that you are watching them.

Thomas Sowell (born June 30, 1930) is an American economist, social
theorist, political philosopher, and author. A National Humanities Medal
winner, he advocates laissez-faire economics and writes from a libertarian
perspective. He is currently a Rose and Milton Friedman Senior Fellow on
Public Policy at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University . Sowell was
born in North Carolina , but grew up in Harlem , New York . He dropped out
of high school, and served in the United States Marine Corps during the
Korean War. He had received a bachelor's degree from Harvard University in
1958 and a master's degree from Columbia University in 1959. In 1968, he
earned his doctorate degree in economics from the University of Chicago .
Dr. Sowell has served on the faculties of several universities, including
Cornell and University of California , Los Angeles , and worked for "think
tanks" such as the Urban Institute. Since 1980 he has worked at the Hoover
Institution. He is the author of more than 30 books.

The following was written by Dr. Sowell:

The current Occupy Wall Street movement is the best illustration to date of
what President Barack Obama's America looks like. It is an America where
the lawless, unaccomplished, ignorant and incompetent rule. It is an
America where those who have sacrificed nothing pillage and destroy the
lives of those who have sacrificed greatly.

It is an America where history is rewritten to honor dictators, murderers
and thieves. It is an America where violence, racism, hatred, class warfare
and murder are all promoted as acceptable means of overturning the American
civil society.

It is an America where humans have been degraded to the level of animals:
defecating in public, having sex in public, devoid of basic hygiene. It is
an America where the basic tenets of a civil society, including faith,
family, a free press and individual rights, have been rejected. It is an
America where our founding documents have been shredded and, with them,
every person's guaranteed liberties.

It is an America where, ultimately, great suffering will come to the
American people, but the rulers like Obama, Michelle Obama, Harry Reid,
Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Joe Biden, Jesse Jackson, Louis
Farrakhan, liberal college professors, union bosses and other loyal
liberal/Communist Party members will live in opulent splendor.

It is the America that Obama and the Democratic Party have created with the
willing assistance of the American media, Hollywood , unions, universities,
the Communist Party of America, the Black Panthers and numerous
anti-American foreign entities.

Barack Obama has brought more destruction upon this country in four years
than any other event in the history of our nation, but it is just the
beginning of what he and his comrades are capable of.

The Occupy Wall Street movement is just another step in their plan for the
annihilation of America .

"Socialism, in general, has a record of failure so blatant that only an
intellectual could ignore or evade it."

Thomas Sowell
